About the Owner
Anita Merriweather owns Children R A Blessing Childcare. Anita oversees the daily operations of the home daycare.
She has owned and operated a successful home day care for more than 13 years. Anita is happily married for 18 years, a mother of six children. Anita has received over 30 college credit hours in child development as well as yearly workshops training classes in early childhood education. Anita enjoys reading Christian literature along with studying the bible; she also enjoys spending quality time with her family.
She received a certificate in word processing from the Illinois School of Commerce and worked for 7 years as a billing specialist for Loyola University Health System. Anita married a wonderful man of God and became a House Wife for five years before given the vision to open her home child care. Anita also holds certificates in First-Aid & CPR. Her future plans are to expand her business with new day care centers in the Chicagoland area. Anita believes that if you are faithful over a little God will make you ruler or much.
